Due to the impact of budget cuts on our schools they are driven to make up lost funding however they can. Our PTA’s are working tirelessly to come up with ideas to raise funds to support programs for our kids. One creative support idea that I love which local schools have come up with is holding craft fairs.
Lewis Elementary located at 4401 SE Evergreen St. in Portland is having a Garden Fair craft fair on April 23rd from 10am-3pm. This no cost event will be well worth your time to discover what they have made. Dare I say that they have a great collection of some of the best local crafters I have seen gathered together in one place, at one time. You will find me there in my booth where I will be offering two items – beautiful garden aprons and comfortable garden kneeling mats.
