Hello, my wonderful sewing friends!
February is the month of LOVE… and this year I’m showing my love and support for some of the people who need it most… NICU babies and their parents/families.
These babies are often born prematurely and/or require intensive medical attention. As a result they’re admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to receive special care.
Unfortunately, these babies can reside here for weeks or even months at a time. And this puts a lot of stress on the parents and families of these little ones.
I have a HUGE heart for supporting this community. That’s why this Saturday February 23rd I’m holding a Free Sewing Event to make Swaddling Blankets for NICU babies!

Remember – you do NOT need to be an expert sewer to make a difference! We’re sewing beginner-friendly Swaddling Blankets that will make a BIG difference in the lives of these families!
Every blanket makes a difference. And whether you stay for only a few minutes or for the entire 2 hours, you’re helping wrap these little ones in love and support!
